Development Partnership International,Nigeria is a youth-led NGO that is preparing youth to take leadership positions in African society. This includes a multisectoral approach that considers various key issues to the sustainable development of Africa. We believe that empowering young people involved in social change and development initiatives is key component to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. As well as the core staff DPI is made up of an international network of young leaders from across Africa who are linked to each other to share resources, ideas and work together to initiate strategies and partnerships in projects that will improve livelihoods in their communities. We attend various continental and international events relating to education, ICTs health care and AIDS.
DPI’s Young Leaders Against HIV/AIDS Initiative is a series of youth leadership training workshops to allow young people in school and out of school to be part of a leadership development and learning program that will provide them the opportunity to build their leadership skills through training, community development service and internship/ mentorship.
